Danish artist Sarah Becker is known for her explorative take on textile works combining collages and embroidery to form her signature art pieces. 

For File Under Pop, she worked with freehand paper cut-outs to form light and honest motives of nature, which are turned into handcrafted, unique tiles using a silk screen technique. 

Her collection of tiles explores motives like cherries, flowers and birds in an orderless pattern, creating endless ways to mix them with single-colored tiles. In addition to this, Becker has designed a number of limited-edition lava stone boards, following the same artistic style and motives.

All boards are crafted carefully from natural Italian lava stone before each board is glazed by hand at our production site in Valencia in Spain. The result is an entirely unique product showing traces of the individual craftmanship that goes into the production of the boards and highlights the artistic expression.
