CHOOSING GLOSS

At File Under Pop, we believe in the power of light – both natural and artificial, and the effect it has on our perception of colors and spatial design. We suggest choosing a matt finish with only 3% of gloss for most wooden and metallic surfaces, such as doors and railings. This will blend in naturally with our matt wall paint and create a calm and cohesive expression. For a bold statement, we suggest the reflective 80% gloss paint that will cast light back from its surface and create a definite eye-catcher. Our 15% and 40% gloss paints are often used for painted furniture, but work equally well on all small and large wooden surfaces.
