Our Chiara Stone is a limestone with a compact grain and it is widely used as a building material for interiors and exteriors.

Alba Stone is the hardest of the limestones in Southern Sicily and it is characterized by its bright light color. Its main applications are essentially splitting, cladding and flooring.

Therefore, the Chiara stone is much more marble-like and often has the classic “pencil” or lines compared to the Alba stone.

For washbasins, it is advisable to use Chiara stone. Compared to Alba stone it has fewer “knots” (limestone that has not completed the calcification process).
