Natural Stone Tiles

File Under Pop works with tiles crafted from raw lava stone and limestone—materials shaped by nature with unique compositions of minerals, fossils, and organic drawings formed within the stone itself. Each piece is carefully sourced from small local craters and quarries in Sicily.

Dark, volcanic lava stone and light, fossil-rich limestone bring two distinctly different expressions to interior spaces. At File Under Pop, we often combine natural stone with ceramic tiles, as the interplay of surfaces enhances one another and creates a tactile, sensual impact in surface design.
